More than $1,100 worth of cigarettes stolen

An unknown suspect allegedly stole more than $1,100 worth of cigarettes from Walgreens at 2606 E. Ash St. Wednesday evening, according to a Goldsboro police report.
A white male entered the business and looked behind the counter where the cigarettes are kept. Several minutes later, the unknown suspect walked behind the counter when no employees were around and took a box of miscellaneous cigarette cartons before running.
