Suspect sought in store break-in

MOUNT OLIVE -- The public's help is being sought in identifying a suspect in the break-in of a downtown store.
The break-in occurred between 2:58 and 3.22 a.m. July 3 at the D&H Mart, 134 South West Center St.
Approximately 70 cartons of Newport cigarettes were stolen during the incident. The thief used a black trash bag to remove the cigarettes.
Prior to the busting the front door of the business the suspect allegedly removed several black metal bars that covered the door.
Police have released surveillance camera photos of the suspect.
Anyone who has any information about the break-in, or who recognizes the person in the photo is asked to call the Mount Olive Police Department 919-658-5031 and ask to speak with Capt. Linda Tyson.
