A Pikeville man charged with 16 felonies in late June in relation to a string of breaking and entering cases across Farmville and Wayne County was charged Wednesday with 12 more felonies related to the incidents.

Marcus Keont'a Lashley, 23, of 4269 U.S. 117 North, Pikeville, was charged with five counts of felony breaking and entering, five counts felony larceny after breaking and entering and two counts felony injury to personal property.

Lashley was given a $25,000 secured bond for the charges.

This brings the total number of felony charges against Lashley in relation to the breaking and entering cases to 28.

These charges are in addition to the first 16 felony charges handed down against Lashley, which included four counts felony breaking and entering, three counts felony larceny after breaking and entering, two counts felony conspiracy to commit breaking and entering and one count felony injury to utility wires and fixtures for incidents in Wayne County.
