Homes are still being sought for several French students who are visiting the United States this month through the Terre des Langues/Terra Lingua program out of East Carolina University.
Five high school students -- three boys and two girls -- are still in need of homes, says professor Frederic Fladenmuller, who is in charge of the program.
They are arriving June 14 and will be staying in eastern North Carolina through July 13.
No special activities are required of hosts, who will provide food and shelter and expose the visiting students and teachers to daily American life. The exchange students are fully insured, have a minimum of three years of classroom English and will be matched individually with their host families after a personal interview.
