United Way gets grant

United Way of Wayne County has received a $2,150 grant from Kimberly-Clark's Depend brand for its annual Days of Action to be held the week of June 21.
The grant will help promote healthy, active and independent living throughout life with a focus on volunteering.
United Way is collaborating with Goldsboro Parks and Recreation, Go Wayne Go, WAGES and WATCH for its Days of Action. Volunteer opportunities will range from delivering Meals on Wheels to cleaning up a park.
