Local offices to close for holiday

Local, state and federal offices, the post office and banks will be closed Monday in observance of the Memorial Day holiday.
County offices, including all library branches, will be closed as well as Wayne County Public Schools and the central office.
The county landfill at Dudley and all convenience centers will be closed Monday. The landfill, which is normally closed on Wednesday, will be open that day.
All Goldsboro city offices will be closed, and solid waste services scheduled for Monday will be serviced on Wednesday.
Mount Olive town offices will be closed. The town's recyclables center will also be closed and will re-open at 8 a.m. on Wednesday.
Household garbage pickup will not be affected. Yard waste pickup will be delayed by one day. Monday's route will be picked up on Tuesday, and Tuesday's route will be picked up on Wednesday.
Pikeville Town Hall will be closed Monday. Other than the police department, all town offices and services will be unavailable.
Fremont Town Hall will close Monday. The police department will be operational, but all other town services will be unavailable unless in an emergency.
The Eureka town office will be closed, but no town services will be affected.
The Village of Walnut Creek's office will be closed. No town services will be affected.
The Goldsboro-Wayne Transportation Authority will operate on a Saturday schedule on Monday when the bus service will run from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
The holiday will not affect Carolina Southern Sanitation, which will operate on a routine schedule.
