On Sunda around 12:15 a.m., Versean Jenkins was shot multiple times while at Donel's Convenience Store, 518 E. Elm St.
Jenkins was taken to Wayne Memorial Hospital and then transferred to Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.
Jenkins has since died from his injuries.
The Goldsboro Police Department is conducting a homicide investigation in the death of 21-year-old Jenkins.
