Center Street Jam begins tonight

Goldsboro's 2016 Center Street Jam summer concert series begins today as the Mighty Saints of Soul will take to the stage located in the John Street parking lot downtown, where the stage will remain all summer for the other eight bands that will play through August 11.
The event will run from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., and beer will be sold by R.A. Jeffreys to concert-goers ages 21 and up.
Beer will be sold for $3 and served in a souvenir cup. If you keep your souvenir cup, each additional beer you purchase throughout the summer concert series will be $2. You must have your souvenir cup at each concert in order for beer to be $2.
Admission to the each concert during the Center Street jam series is free, and no pets or personal coolers are allowed. Concerts are held every two weeks, weather cooperating, on Thursday nights.

May 19: The Embers
June 2: Spare Change
June 16: Legacy Motown Revue
June 30: Hip Pocket
July 14: Band of Oz
July 28: Jim Quick & Coastline
August 11: The Blake Kearney Band
