Forum to focus on hot issues

Hot breakfast and even hotter public policy topics will be served at the "Eggs & Issues" legislative forum Friday at the Lane Tree Conference Center.
Invited state legislators include Sen. Don Davis, D-District 5; Sen. Louis Pate, R-District 7; Rep. James Dixon, R-District 4; Rep. John Bell, R-District 10; and Rep. Larry Bell, D-District 21.
Topics for discussion will encompass the military, agriculture, education, transportation and small businesses.
The Goldsboro News-Argus is the presenting sponsor. Publisher Hal Tanner III will moderate the discussion.
The forum will run from 8 to 9:30 a.m.
Lane Tree Conference Center is located at 2317 Salem Church Road.
The Wayne County Chamber of Commerce invites members and non-members alike to attend. The cost for Chamber members is $15; non-members, $25. Tickets also may be purchased at the door.
