On March 19 at 9:50 p.m., Rhonda Williams agreed to meet her husband, Brandon Lee Williams, from whom she is currently separated, in the vicinity of Smiths Winding Lane in Pikeville.
When Mrs. Williams arrived to the location, she observed a black Nissan Maxima in the area; however, Williams was not in the vehicle.
As Mrs. Williams began to leave the area, Williams came from a ditch area and began to fire a gun at her, striking her while she was in the vehicle driving away from the area.
Currently, there are outstanding warrants for arrest for Brandon Lee Williams for attempted first degree murder, malicious assault in secret and discharging a firearm in a vehicle resulting in serious bodily harm.
