State, local offices to close for holiday

Local and state offices will be closed Friday in observance of Good Friday. However, federal offices, banks and the U.S. Postal Service will not close for either Good Friday or Easter Monday.
Town offices in Goldsboro, Mount Olive, Fremont, Pikeville, Seven Springs and Walnut Creek will be closed on Friday. Eureka town offices will not be closed either Friday or Monday.
Mount Olive recylables center will be closed, too.
Thursday's garbage and yard waste pick up route will be handled on Wednesday and Friday's route on Thursday in Mount Olive.
Wayne County Public Schools will be closed Monday through Friday of next week. The central office is closed on Monday only.
The Peggy Seegars Senior Center will be closed Friday and Saturday.
Wayne County offices and the courts will be closed Friday. The landfill and convenience centers will not operate Friday, but will be back to their regular schedule Saturday and closed Sunday as usual.
The public library will be closed Friday and Saturday, reopening Monday.
