Pickle Princess pageant notice

MOUNT OLIVE -- The 16th Annual North Carolina Pickle Princess Pageant will be held on April 16 at the Historic Assembly Hall In Mount Olive.
Applications will be ready this weekend.
Open to ages birth through Mrs. the pageant also offer a Prince division.
Mandatory competitions include sportswear and evening wear (Baby - Tiny Miss and Ms and Mrs) and talent and evening wear (Little Miss - Miss). Mandatory entry fee is $175 and includes a NC Pickle Princess T-shirt to be worn in the opening number, and sportswear. The winners will reign over the North Carolina Pickle Festival to be held on April 23 in Mount Olive.
Organizers will be awarding cash, savings bonds and much more to the winners. Former queens have appeared on national television and one of the pageant's alumni is a former Miss North Carolina.
