Rose Banquet to be held March 23

The 16th annual Rose Banquet will be held March 23 at 6:45 p.m. at the Wayne Center. Doors will open at 6 p.m.
The abstinence banquet is for youths in grades six through 12.
Guest speakers will be Bryan and Elizabeth Stup with Goldsboro Pediatrics.
There will be a performance of The Rose, an abstinence drama. Entertainment will be by Free Spirit.
Dinner will be provided by Longhorn Steakhouse.
The event is a tobacco, alcohol and drug free event. Youth groups must be accompanied by an adult.
Tickets to the Rose Banquet are $6 for youths and adults. They are available at Goldsboro Pediatrics and Academic Abundance Inc. Deadline for purchasing tickets is March 15 at 5 p.m. The event is sponsored by the Wayne Council on Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention.
