1 charged, 3 sought in murder

One person has been arrested and warrants have been issued for a second suspect in connection with a Jan. 9 shooting that left one person dead and a second wounded.
Three other suspects are still being sought as well -- one of whom was captured on a surveillance camera. The Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's assistance in identifying the man.
Jennele Lea Howard Wall, 35, of Room 8, Carolina Motel, 2316 N. William St., has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder and attempted first-degree murder in the death of Carlos Cesar Vasquez Luna, 47, of 159 Sleepy Creek Road, and the shooting of Alfred Garcias, 25, of the same address
She is charged as well with attempted armed robbery and first-degree burglary.
Ms. Wall was arrested Wednesday, Jan. 13, and placed in the Wayne County Detention Center under no bond.
Felony warrants for have been issued for Montrel Allen, 41, whose last known address was 104 Jessica Place.
The warrants were secured on Friday, Jan. 15. A search took place that same day in an attempt to locate Allen.
Allen has not been arrested, but is aware of the outstanding warrants, Sheriff Larry Pierce said.
The shooting occurred at a residence located at 159 Sleepy Creek Road in Dudley, where Luna was pronounced dead at the scene.
Garcias was first taken to the Wayne Memorial Hospital Emergency Department and then to Vidant Hospital in Greenville.
