A Goldsboro woman is charged with breaking and entering and the theft of fishing equipment following an investigation into a break-in that took place in August 2015.
Alice Josephine Iglesias, 45, 195 Perry Farm Lane, is charged with felony breaking and entering, larceny and possession of stolen goods, according to a press release issued by the Wayne County Sheriff's Office today.
"She stole $4,000 worth of property," Maj. Tom Effler said.
The break-in occurred at a residence off of N.C. 111 N., in northern Wayne County, the press release said. Some of the property has been recovered.
Iglesias is due in Wayne County District Court for a first appearance on these charges as well as three counts of obtaining property by false pretense.
She has been placed in the Wayne County Jail under a $10,000 secured bond.
