Crime of the week: Authorities seek information in robbery at Family Dollar in December

On Dec. 10 at approximately 8:15 p.m., employees of the Family Dollar located at 1403 Wayne Memorial Drive reported an unknown, black male suspect came into the store with a knife visible and robbed them of an undetermined amount of currency. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact investigator Zwirblia with the Goldsboro Police Department at 919-580-4242. Anyone with information about this crime, or any other crime in Wayne County is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 919-735-2255 or text at 919-222-4230. Callers will remain anonymous and if your information leads to a felony arrest you will be given a cash reward.
