Pikeville police charge two with School Street breaking and enterings

PIKEVILLE -- Two suspects have been charged by Pikeville police in connection with a breaking and entering in the 100 block of East School Street.

During the investigation by Sgt. Eva Marie Scott it was discovered that one of the suspects had stolen a vehicle to use in the crime.

Zeborah Ann Mooring, 57, 405 N. Goldsboro St., Pikeville, has been charged with breaking and entering, larceny and possession of stolen property, all felonies, and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, a misdemeanor.

She was placed under a $22,500 secured bond.

Clifton Bernard Howell, 63, 104 W. Old Fort Road, Pikeville, was charged with misdemeanor possession of stolen property. He was placed under a $500 unsecured bond.

The stolen property was recovered and returned to the owner.
