Authorities seek information on string of armed robberies in city

Surveillance footage of a suspect robbing one of the six stores.

Between Nov. 20 and Nov. 28, six armed robberies have occurred at Goldsboro businesses.

1. Nov. 20: Dukes Beauty Supply at 513 E. Ash St. was robbed at approximately 6 p.m.

2. Nov. 26: Dollar General at 301 N. George S.t was robbed at approximately 6:50 p.m.

3. Nov. 27: Asiya Market at 501 E. Ash St. was robbed at approximately 6:30 p.m.

4. Nov. 27: Family Dollar at 423 S. George St. was robbed at approximately 8:10 p.m.

5. Nov. 28: Dollar General at 1015 N. Spence Ave. was robbed at approximately 8:40 p.m.

6. Nov. 28: Tobacco World at 523 E. Ash St. was robbed at approximately 7:25 p.m.

The suspect is a black male wearing a black hoodie, black pants, and black and white shoes. His face is covered with a camouflage mask. He is armed with a handgun.
