Shooting victim sought aid at school

The Goldsboro police have identified the victim of a shooting that resulted in a lockdown at St. Mary Catholic School about 2 p.m. today. Early reports indicated the shooting took place near the school, but Goldsboro police said the shooting victim, Marquis Omar Johnson, only sought help there. School officials placed the school on lockdown until authorities arrived. Students were released to their parents. See Thursday's News-Argus for the complete story.
