Teen charged in robbery in store's lot

A Goldsboro teen is in the Wayne County Detention Center today following an early morning robbery in the parking lot of the Family Dollar on South George Street.
Keiraun Tann, 16, of 109 Decoy Drive, is charged with common law robbery and is being held in jail under a $10,000 secured bond.
According to the press release, patrol officers responded to a robbery that had just occurred at the Family Dollar, 423 S. George St., at 1:10 a.m. and took a report. The victim said he had been approached by two black males in the parking lot area. One of the men brandished a firearm, according to the release.
The two suspects stole a firearm from the victim and fled on foot. A short time later, officers approached two people matching the description given to them by the victim.
One suspect managed to escape on foot. Tann was taken into custody and charged.
