On Tuesday, Sept. 29, Roy Williams of Warsaw filed a common law robbery report with the Goldsboro Police Department, saying on that date at approximately midnight he was giving a female friend from Kinston named Crystal Oleary a ride home along with a companion of hers that was an unidentified, black male. After being directed to Astor Court in the West Haven Subdivision, a white car pulled up to his car, four unknown black males got out of the white car and began to assault him.

The suspects took Williams' keys, cash and a debit card. Williams ran to call 911 and after medics and law enforcement arrived, he discovered the suspects ransacked his vehicle, but nothing additional was reported stolen.

Ms. Oleary reported the same suspects took her debit cards and money from her pants pockets. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call Inv. Crawford at 919-580-4213.
