Minority business expo Saturday

The City of Goldsboro is sponsoring its first annual Minority and Women Business Enterprise Expo on Saturday, Aug. 22 at Herman Park Center at 901 E. Ash St., from 8 a.m. until noon.
The public is invited to come out and get informed of the city's new policy in regards to local city contracts, bidding opportunities, and upcoming projects. City personnel will also answer some frequently asked questions.
Valuable information will be presented and contractors are encouraged to network with others in and around the community.
