Shots fired at vehicle on Royall

No injuries were reported Monday after shots were fired at a vehicle stopped at the intersection of Royall Avenue and North Spence Avenue.
According to a Goldsboro police report, the shots came from the parking lot of the Sound & Security retail store located at 2605 Royall Ave. in the Walmart shopping plaza at about 1:30 p.m.
The driver, Elliot Richard, 31, of Fussell Street, and a passenger, Shakia Graham, 35, of Rockefeller Court, were in the vehicle but were not harmed.
The only description of the shooter is that he is a black male.
Bullets struck the rear passenger door and shattered the same window, according to the report. Interior parts of the rear seating were also damaged. The total estimated value of the property damage is listed at $1,000.
