The Wayne County Sheriff's Office is working to identify and locate two male suspects who robbed the Wilco Hess gas station at 2775 U.S. 117 S. in Dudley early this morning.
One suspect is a black male; the other is Hispanic, according to the police report.
At 2:38 a.m. today, deputies responded to a panic alarm at the Wilco Hess in Dudley. Once there, deputies were able to review security camera footage and to see exactly what happened.
"Two guys went in, both of them wearing masks. One of them was armed with a shotgun," Maj. Tom Effler said.
According to the report, the suspects hid while the clerk waited on a customer. Then, after the customer exited the store, the suspects forced the clerk to lie on the floor. The suspects emptied the cash register and took a red and black duffel bag with a Coca-Cola logo on the side.
The black male is described as wearing black pants, a black shirt and carrying a black shotgun. The Hispanic male wore a black hoodie with black shorts and white shoes.
Among the items taken were the Coca-Cola duffel bag, $223 in cash and 30 packs of strawberry and white grape White Owl brand cigar wraps.
