On May 15, officers of the Goldsboro Police Department responded to a residence in the 700 block of Prince Avenue regarding a break-in.
Once on scene they spoke with the reporting party who stated the residence was secure on May 14 at 11 a.m., and when they went to the home on May 15 at 8 a.m. they discovered a window had been broken out and personal property valued over $14,000 stolen.
Items listed as stolen were several television sets ranging from 46-inch to 60-inch, laptop computers, jewelry, DVDs, Blue Ray players, record collections, stereo system, Surround Sound System and an X-Box.
