Rabies vaccination clinics will be sponsored by the Wayne County Animal Shelter on different dates and locations listed across the county.
The cost will be $10 per dog or cat.
The owner of every dog and cat more than four months of age is required to have the animal vaccinated against rabies. Any animal receiving its first rabies vaccine must receive another dose one year later and every three years thereafter. Proof of prior rabies vaccinations is required for the animal to receive a three-year vaccination. If proof is not provided, a one-year vaccination will be provided.
