A Goldsboro man shot in the leg Monday declined medical transport and signed a non-prosecution form, according to a Goldsboro police report.
Goldsboro police responded to a 911 call that a person had been shot at 207 S. Kornegay St. They found a man walking and stopped him in front of 317 S. Kornegay St.
Charles Ray King, 39, shot in the leg, refused to cooperate with the investigation.
Sgt. Dale Foster said the shooting came about as a result of a domestic situation and that King had not provided any additional information.
King walked away from the ambulance and police and exhibited a slight limp.
"I think it was just a graze," Foster said.
