A LaGrange man already jailed for breaking and entering and fraud earlier this month now faces additional charges of larceny after taking more than $8,400 in property from a Princeton residence, a Wayne County Sheriff's Office press release said.
Jamie Lee Hardin, 21, 1653 Hood Swamp Road, is charged with felony larceny and felony possession of stolen goods. He and his brother Jesse Luke Hardin, 20, were charged Feb. 8 with breaking into a motor vehicle and with using credit or debit cards stolen during that break-in.
Monday's charges stem from a separate incident.
According to the press release, Hardin was visiting the residents of a Princeton residence and stayed there for a period of time. During that time, items were reported stolen to the sheriff's office.
Hardin was identified during the subsequent investigation and eventually charged. He was given an additional bond of $5,000 secured.
He is due to appear in Wayne County District Court Feb. 17 on the new charges. Both Hardin brothers have court dates toward the end of this month stemming from the earlier charges.
