Can you help Meals on Wheels?

Many of the Meals on Wheels volunteers are elderly themselves, and some could be a little unsure in the current weather conditions.
Director Brownie Doss said she could use some additional volunteers -- particularly younger adults -- who are a little better able to help get the meals to the homebound seniors.
"It's supposed to be icy tomorrow," she said. "One problem (we have) is the majority of our volunteers are older themselves. We don't want to risk them breaking a hip or falling. If we had more younger people, that would be great. We may be able to do it quicker."

"I'll be checking (messages)," Ms. Doss said.
