Woman reports hearing 11 shots, damage to her car

A Goldsboro woman reported hearing 11 shots from two different types of weapon outside her Water Street home at 4 a.m. Wednesday.
Later that morning, she found bullet had passed through her vehicle.
According to a Goldsboro police report, Katrina Chandrell Evans, 34, described what she heard as 11 gunshots followed by the sound of cars speeding away from the area.
When she went out to her car at 7 a.m., she found a bullet had entered through the front passenger side door of her Jeep Grand Cherokee, traveled through the interior of the vehicle and exited through the driver's side door.
An estimated $250 in damage per door was listed on the report.
No suspect information was listed on the report and there was no indication of shell casings or other evidence having been found at the scene.
The investigation is listed as closed.
