A Goldsboro couple wanted for numerous breaking and entering and larceny cases that took place both in Goldsboro and across Wayne County are believed to be on the move, the Wayne County Sheriff's Office said.
A press release issued Tuesday said Allen Earl Alphin, 29, and Samantha Renea Alphin, 31, are driving a burgundy Pontiac vehicle -- either a Grand Prix or Grand Am -- with a Virginia handicap sticker displaying the number 321420.
A hubcap is missing on the front driver side of the car, and a child car seat is visible in the back seat.
Both Alphins have extensive criminal records, the release said.
Authorities have secured arrest warrants for both Alphins, but their last known address -- the one listed on the warrants -- is not valid.
Det. Sgt. Tammy Mozingo said the crimes were recent.
"I'd say within the last month," she said.
The couple are suspects in some cases and wanted for questioning in others, she added.
The Sheriff's Office is asking for the community's help in bringing the Alphins in.
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of the Alphins is asked to contact Det. Sgt. Mozingo at 919-580-4065. Callers wishing to remain anonymous can contact Crime Stoppers by calling 919-735-2255, or text tips to 919-222-4230. Tips leading to a felony arrest are eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
