Suspect caught in traffic stop

The Wayne County Sheriff's Office Aggressive Criminal Enforcement Team stopped a Wilson man traveling through the county Sunday and found marijuana in the vehicle, according to a press release.
Joshua Michael Jordell Nelson, 30, of 3716 Lear Court NW Duplex B, Wilson, is charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, maintaining a vehicle for the sale or use of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Nelson was placed in the Wayne County Jail under a $1,000 secured bond.
According to the press release, deputies stopped Nelson's car on I-795 near mile marker 21. A search was conducted and the drugs were found, the report said.
Nelson was due to appear in Wayne County Superior Court Tuesday.
