A traffic stop led Wayne County Sheriff's Office Aggressive Criminal Enforcement (ACE) Team deputies to search a house on Frankie's Lane in Goldsboro Friday.
Marijuana and cash were seized during the search.
Kameron Dawson Howard, 20, 116 Frankie's Lane, is charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, manufacturing marijuana, maintaining a dwelling for the sale or use of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He was placed in the Wayne County Jail under a $5,000 secured bond.
According to a Sheriff's Office press release, ACE team deputies stopped Howard's car during the course of an investigation prompted by citizen complaints.
After finding drugs in the car, the deputies were able to get consent to search Howard's residence where the rest of the drugs and other items were discovered.
"It could be they got it out of him, or they saw him coming from the residence carrying the stuff and they just got lucky," Maj. Tom Effler said.
"Sometimes you do get lucky," he said.
The investigation into the sale and distribution of marijuana on Frankie's Lane is ongoing.
