Promotion announced by college

It has been announced that Dr. Tracie Sawyer Clark will become executive assistant to Dr. Tony Zeiss, president of Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte.
She is an instructor in CPCC's Communication and Speech Department and director of STAR: Success Through Academic Reporting, the college's quality enhancement program.
Clark will begin her new role as executive assistant and a member of the college cabinet on Feb. 1.
She is a graduate of Goldsboro High School and the daughter of Joseph and Shelia Sawyer.
