A Brooklyn Pizzeria delivery man and a Wilco gas station attendant were robbed at gunpoint Monday in two separate incidents.

The robbery at Wilco happened at about 9:30 a.m., while the Brooklyn Pizzeria delivery man was robbed at about 9 p.m.

The crimes are the second and third times in less than a week that someone has been held up at gunpoint in Goldsboro while working his or her job.

Police are still searching for the robber from last Wednesday's Wells Fargo bank robbery.

"It's always concerning when this happens, and we take them all very seriously," Goldsboro police Maj. Alton King said today. "Crimes like this seem to peak at this time of year."

While making a routine pizza delivery to 202 Gerald Lane, three black males approached the delivery man, pulled a revolver on him and told him to "give it up," according to the police report. The victim handed over the pizzas, worth a total of $32.02, and the unknown suspects fled on foot, traveling southeast.

After the robbery, the delivery driver got into his vehicle and began following the thieves, but was again held at gunpoint and promptly left the scene when released a second time.

King said police have "little to go on right now" in regard to the Wilco robbery at 1221 U.S. 117 South.

"We're looking at the videotape and interviewing witnesses," he said. "An officer was sent to the location, and they processed what little crime scene there was."

King said the unknown suspect in the Wilco robbery fled the scene in a vehicle with an unknown amount of money. Details about the vehicle's make and model are being held until they can be confirmed, he said.

Descriptions are available for the three suspects in the pizza robbery. The first suspect, who held the driver at gunpoint, wore a brown jacket. The second suspect was about 5 feet 11 inches tall and wore a gray hoodie with a blue and white bandana on his face. The third suspect was about 5 feet 11 inches tall and wore a black hoodie with a blue and white bandana on his face.

No description is available for the suspect in the Wilco robbery.
