Suspect shown on store tape

Police are looking for this man in connection with a theft at the Dunham's Sports store in Goldsboro.
Goldsboro police are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect in a Wednesday afternoon larceny at Dunham's Sports in the Goldsboro Promenade, 301 N. Berkeley Blvd.
The man is a possible suspect in several other several other thefts in the area, Goldsboro police Sgt. Jeremy Sutton said this morning.
The suspect, a black male, is described as being about 6 feet tall and weighing 180 pounds. In the photo, it appears that the man also has a mustache. Police said the man was wearing what appears to be a distinctive UCLA Bruins jacket.
Sutton said the man is the suspect in the theft of ammunition from the gun aisle at the store.The type of ammunition has not yet been determined, he said.
Store officials called police, but the suspect had left before they could arrive, he said. The photo was taken from the store's surveillance system.
Officers do not know if the man fled on foot or in a vehicle.
People are asked to call the Goldsboro Police Department at 919-580-4213 if they recognize the man or have any information about the case, Sutton said.
