A Wayne County grand jury indicted four of the five suspects apprehended after a St. Patrick's Day home invasion that was broken up when the homeowners returned.
The fifth suspect pleaded guilty in October, according to court records.
Navone Rashon Carter, 26, of Dudley, Christopher Dixon, 23, of Kinston, Victor Troy Exum, 47, 3103 Cashwell Drive, Amy Lean Moore, 34, of the Irish Inn, and Shaquana Ishavon McCutchen, 21, of Sanford, were each charged with conspiracy to commit armed robbery, robbery with a dangerous weapon, breaking and entering, first-degree kidnapping, larceny of a firearm and possession of stolen property.
Information obtained from the District Attorney's Office stated Carter pleaded guilty Oct. 18 to robbery with a dangerous weapon and was sentenced to between six and nine years in prison.
The remaining suspects will be tried separately.
According to the Goldsboro police report, Carter and the rest of the suspects forced their way into a residence in the 1700 block of Harrell Street at 2:15 p.m. March 17.
A 17-year-old male was home at the time and was held against his will as the intruders ransacked the residence and stole items including a pistol.
The teen's parents pulled into the driveway as the suspects were fleeing and his step-father chased down Ms. McCutchen and Ms. Moore.
Goldsboro police officers later caught up with the three male suspects at the Goldsboro Country Club golf course.
