On Sunday, Nov. 30, the Goldsboro Police Department responded to a call from a citizen at the business parking lot located at 803 N. Berkeley Blvd. regarding a deceased dog in the parking lot.
Once on scene, officers determined the black, male dog had been tortured and killed and brought to the site afterward.
Officers stated that the injuries were consistent with the dog being burned, dragged, cut and crushed.
