Robber hits local restaurant after hours

A black man wearing a blue bandana robbed the Applebee's located at 901 N. Spence Ave. after closing Monday night.
The armed robber got away with an undetermined amount of money from a back office and $40 from a cash drawer, according to a Goldsboro police report.
According to the report, the subject entered the restaurant after hours and forced the manager and another employee to the back office at gunpoint. He then took items from inside the office including cash and fled in an unknown direction.
The 6-foot man is described as about 25 years old and weighing 160 pounds. He wore blue jeans and a black jacket along with the bandana.
The report did not specify the type of firearm used in the robbery.
