Two people came under fire as they attempted to leave a Goldsboro nightclub following an altercation Tuesday night.
According to a Goldsboro police report, Sean Jones, 30, and Myeshia Jones, 29, of LaGrange, told police they were leaving Cameron's Club House at 2211 E. Ash St., when someone in an unknown vehicle came by and fired two shots at them.
The shooting followed what the police report calls a "large disturbance call coming from the club."
The report does not specify whether either Sean Jones or Myeshia Jones was involved in the altercation.
The disturbance was dispersed and people were leaving the area when the shots were fired.
The bullets struck the driver's side rear quarter panel of the 2000 Lexus Jones was driving, causing $800 in damage, according to the report.
No one was injured and no description of either the shooter, the shooter's vehicle or the type of handgun used is listed on the report.
According to the report, the report was filed for insurance purposes only and the investigation is closed due to exhausted leads.
