Market Day will be this Saturday

FAISON -- Faison will celebrate its annual Market Day on Saturday, Oct. 11 with a recognition of the 1954-55 faculty of Faison School, the school's final year of operation as a school with grades 1-12.
The event will be held at Faison Park Circle, starting at 10 a.m.
The opening ceremony will honor the faculty members and/or their families, along with recognition of the Farmer of the Year and the Right Hand Man of the Year.
At 11 a.m., entertainment will commence. There will be food of all kinds, games, train rides and a bounce house for children.
A painting of Faison School by Heather Williams will be sold at a silent auction at 2 p.m.
