The last Sunday in the Park of 2014 will be held Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. at Herman Park.
The event is a partnership with Goldsboro Parks and Recreation and the Arts Council of Wayne County.
There's a variety of activities for both children and adults, including hula hoops, bouncy castles, crafts and face painting.
There will also be a pumpkin patch where visitors can take photos of their children. Pumpkins will be available for purchase, with medium ones around $5.
The Kiwanis train will be running.
Parks and Recreation will also have a John Deere tractor on display, and will have hay bales, scarecrows and mums at the event.
Art and food vendors will be on hand with their crafts and tasty fare.
Free concerts will be given by the Flat Mountain Dulcimers and Cruz, a group out of Greenville. Heart of God Productions will put on a short skit.
Those people attending are urged to take lawn chairs and blankets. They may take a picnic basket or buy food from the vendors that day.
Sunday in the Park had its origins back in the 1970s. The Arts Council wanted to bring back that tradition -- so Sunday in the Park was brought back again last year.
