Wayne Extension offers gardening workshops

The Wayne County Extension Office will be offering a series of "Successful Gardening" workshops this fall.
The Landscape Design Basics Workshop will teach the basics of landscape design and proper plant selection for planning a successful landscape. These sessions will be 10 a.m. to noon Friday, Sept. 5, at the Wayne County Extension Office, 208 W. Chestnut St., and 3 to 5 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 11, at the Wayne County Public Library, 1001 E. Ash St.
The Landscaping for Wildlife Workshop will teach how to turn a landscape into an attractive habitat for wildlife. These sessions will be 3 to 5 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 18, at the Wayne County Public Library, and 10 a.m. to noon Friday, Sept. 19, at the Wayne County Extension Office.
