A new YouTube video teasing a reality show at Busco Beach and ATV Park is getting a lot of attention online, garnering almost 18,000 views since it was posted at the beginning of the month.
The video, created by Wilmington-based National Sports and Entertainment, features a cast of characters staying on the property and the antics that weekend travelers get into at the park, which is located off of Bryan Boulevard.
The video says that the first episode is coming soon, but park owner Jimmy Pierce said that isn't in the works right now.
"I am aware of it," he said. "It's something that was made last year out of Wilmington. It was done by a company that had done some reality prospects, so they put a little thing together."
Pierce said the video was shot during the summer last year and just took this long to surface.
Pierce said he hasn't really put much thought into whether he would allow a reality show to be filmed at the park, but added that he was not opposed to the idea.
"We'd have to get into a lot more details," he said. "I would have to let my attorneys do more talking about it than me."
Pierce said the park is doing well following the new city restrictions imposed last year.
During a rezoning effort, the Goldsboro City Council limited riding times as part of a compromise between the park owner and neighboring residents.
