A Goldsboro man is recovering after being shot outside Cameron's Clubhouse at 2215 E. Ash St. at 2 a.m. today.
Billy Renaldo Hamm, 21, of East Elm Street, told Goldsboro police he did not see who shot him.
Hamm was struck once in the arm, and three parked cars also were hit.
Goldsboro police officers were nearby when the shots fired call came in, Sgt. Jeremy Sutton said.
"We got there pretty quick. We didn't see anyone with a gun. We didn't see anyone firing a gun," Sutton said.
Hamm was transported to Wayne Memorial Hospital where he was treated and released.
No description of a suspect is listed on the police report.
"He just said he came out of the club and a black male was shooting at him," Sutton said.
An investigator has been assigned to the case.
