Two more heroin dealers arrested

The Goldsboro/Wayne County Interagency Drug Task Force tallied two more arrests Wednesday in the course of its ongoing investigation into the illegal distribution of heroin in and around Wayne County.
Investigators identified Shawnquel C. Futrelle, 26, of 104 Heather Glenn Drive, and Heather Danielle Pierce, 28, 928 Memorial Church Road, as heroin distributors, according to a press release issued by the Wayne County Sheriff's Office.
Both Futrelle and Ms. Pierce are charged with one count each of possession with intent to sell and deliver heroin and possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine.
Futrelle faces an additional charge for possession of drug paraphernalia. Ms. Pierce is also charged with possession of marijuana.
Both were placed in the Wayne County Jail under $5,000 secured bonds.
A traffic stop conducted by task force officers at the intersection of North William Street and Patetown Road led to the discovery of the narcotics and packaging materials for distribution.
Both Futrelle and Ms. Pierce have since bonded out of jail.
