Wayne Community College's Adult High School Program has honored five students for outstanding academic achievement in the second session of the spring 2014 semester.
Tiffany Alvarado, Taquanda Bynum, Abigail Ezzell, Natalie Uzzell and Keyana Ward were named to the honors list. To be included on this list, students must have completed at least two courses in the eight-week session with a "B" or higher average.
The Adult High School at Wayne Community College in Goldsboro offers a tuition-free program of courses for adults 16 years or older who want to complete their high school education.
It is one of several programs in the Basic Skills Department that address the needs of adult residents with below-high school education levels or who lack basic skills.
