Traffic stop leads to marijuana

A High Point man faces drug charges as a result of a traffic stop conducted by the Wayne County Sheriff's Office Aggressive Criminal Enforcement Team on Tuesday.
Keenan Rommell Winn, 20, of 3887 Range Crest Court in High Point, is charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, maintaining a vehicle for the sale or use of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Winn was placed in the Wayne County Jail under a $10,000 secured bond.
Deputies stopped Winn in the area of U.S. 117 South and Old Mount Olive Highway based on a seat belt violation.
During the traffic stop, he was found in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Winn is due in Wayne County District Court June 9.
