Fighting cancer -- one head at a time

Barber Leslie Potts at the Pikeville Barber Shop shaves the head of town board member Todd Anderson, who also is headmaster at Wayne Country Day School. The town of Pikeville has proclaimed itself the "cancer-fighting capital" and has taken steps to back up the claim. The town has painted its downtown parking stripes pink to remind folks of the need to find a cure for the disease. On Wednesday, town officials had their heads shaved in honor of patients who have lost their hair due to chemotherapy and radiation treatments.
