Another man shot in city

Goldsboro police are searching for the man suspected in today's early morning shooting in the Fairview Housing Community.
The victim, Chad Donnavan Herring, 26, was shot several times in both legs and transported to Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.
Daniel Lamar Young, 20, of Goldsboro, is wanted in connection with the shooting.
Patrol officers arrived at 935 B Fairview Circle just after 2:30 a.m. and discovered Herring suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the legs.
According to the report, Herring told police he had been shot by a black male.
Herring was transported by Wayne County EMS to Wayne Memorial Hospital and then transferred to Vidant.
Investigators working the crime scene identified Young as the suspect and have secured an arrest warrant for assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury.
Police, however, have not yet been able to locate Young.
Young is described as 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighing 170 pounds.
